MSA Support Helps Small Business Succeed

It’s been nearly 50 years since Ray Kufel first began repairing Detroit-area refrigerators, ranges and more.

He’s learned a lot about both appliance repair and business throughout the decades. He credits proactive training with part of his company’s success – and is quick to point out Marcone Service Association’s role in that.

“We have been a member of Marcone Servicers Association for many years,” Ray said. “It has been an invaluable resource for our company and for our employees.”

Kenwhirl Appliance utilizes MSA Health, which helps small business owners such as Kufel provide quality benefits to his employees at a lower cost.

“It’s been a great savings for us,” Ray said. “We also have used their Tele-Doc program and it saved many of us from spending countless hours in the doctor’s office and saved us quite a bit of money by being treated over the phone.”

The Kenwhirl team also takes part in the MSA conventions, which feature both business and technical training sessions along with networking, inspirational speakers and a trade show featuring the industry’s top names.

“Their classes for training and business have helped us run our company more efficiently,” Ray said. “The after-hours camaraderie, and being with Marcone employees, has been great.”
